We are excited to welcome everyone back to the studio and to extend a big welcome to the new members of our dance family in Parker and Castle Rock!

As many of you know, the Town of Parker recently transitioned to a new registration system. With any new system comes a few growing pains, and we are still learning how to best use it to ensure we receive the information needed to communicate with you effectively. Thank you so much for your patience as the Town works through this learning curve.

Please be sure to register for classes and add your dancer to any waitlists for classes you’re hoping to join. I will be working through the weekend and next week to review and organize class lists and will follow up as needed. If you are in doubt, come to the class. See you in the studio!

Friendly Reminder: This is our final week of dance classes! There will be no classes from Monday, November 24 through Sunday, November 30. Enjoy your Thanksgiving break!

We’ll see you at dress rehearsals on Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 2, and at the shows on Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4.

The Town of Parker has recently transitioned to a new registration platform, which has shifted our usual timeline. While registration typically opens in November, this year, online registration will open on Monday, December 9. You can register at parkerarts.org or use the link on our website, tdanceconn.com.

Please mark your calendars and plan to register as soon as possible once enrollment opens — classes tend to fill quickly, and we don’t want anyone to miss out during the busy holiday season!

We need your help!
Every role makes a big difference. Your time and energy help bring our performances to life, and we couldn’t do this without you! Find the 2025 Scrooge’s Dream and Clara’s Dream Volunteer Sign Up under the Shows tab, Volunteers dropdown on our website.

As a thank-you, all volunteers receive a special code to purchase tickets to our shows one week before the public—a great way to snag the best seats. Presale tickets begin Oct 7, so sign up before then to receive your code. Public ticket sales begin Oct 14.

Note: Backstage classroom volunteers must have a current background check through an employer, school district, or other agency. If you don’t already have one, we’ll provide a link to complete the process (a $18.50 fee applies).

We are using Band App to post videos of class combos and choreography. Invitations are class specific and sent via email. We hope you enjoy this platform!

Auditions for Clara’s Dream and Scrooge’s Dream will be held
Saturday, September 6 at PACE.

All dancers enrolled in semester-long classes participate in the performances with their class. Auditions are for special roles(Clara, Clara’s Friends, Sugarplum, Scrooge, Marley, etc.), open to dancers ages 6+. Please see the Audition Sign Up for a list of expected roles this year (*subject to change depending on auditions).

Reminder: No dance classes are held on Monday Sept 1 in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend.

Mark your calendars 
Our ParkerArts Fall Semester will conclude with performances of Clara’s Dream and Scrooge’s Dream on December 3 and 4, 2025, with Dress Rehearsals on December 1 and 2, 2025 (starting early afternoon). Our Town of Castle Rock Fall Semester will conclude with a performance of Clara’s Dream on December 6, with Dress Rehearsal on December 5. Please be sure to mark your calendars with these important dates. Regular classes will not be held during dress rehearsal and performance week. More detailed information, including exact rehearsal times and performance details, will be shared in the coming weeks.

Think about auditions
Dancers age 6 and up have the opportunity to audition for special parts and dances in ParkerArts performances of Clara’s Dream and Scrooge’s Dream in addition to their class’s piece in the show. We will hold auditions on September 6, from 1-5pm. These dances will require additional rehearsals on Saturdays, between 10:30am-5pm. More information about the audition will be released closer to the audition date.
